This month's drive will take us through Solano, Yolo and Napa county backroads past historical ranches, lakes, vineyards and more. Our drive will start in the little Solano county town of Dixon. Please arrive early to catch up with friends or meet new ones. Our drive will depart at 10 a.m. sharp. Route directions will be available at the meeting point. We will make a quick stop at the Monticello Dam to stretch legs and check out the famous Berryessa glory hole spillway. The next leg of our drive will be past farms, vineyards and over Howell mountain though tall coastal redwoods with some great views. Some of our roads will be quite twisty so prepare for this if you are prone to getting car sick. Our final destination and lunch stop will be Gott's Roadside in St Helena, California, in the world famous Napa Valley. Gott's offers plenty of outdoor seating with picnic tables under large oak trees and umbrellas. There will not be a restroom break during the drive as there really is no good place to stop so make sure to take care of business before we depart Starbucks.
