The Great Dane has 4 great brewpub restaurants in the Madison area, Dane County (thus the name) and opened one in Wausau a few years back. They have a medium priced menu with something for everyone. They usually have around 5 or 6 of their own beers on tap, and have seasonals as well. They are conveniently located adjacent to I-39/US-51/WI 29 on the west side of Wausau, next to the Marriott Courtyard Wausau.
