The Wichita section headed over to Jenny Dawn Cellars for wine tasting right in the heart of Wichita. The winery is located within the historic downtown Union Station building. The proprietor, Jennifer McDonald, conducted a wine tasting with our group showing techniques for approaching and experiencing new wines and explaining how different food flavors impact how a wine tastes. Jenny answered all sorts of questions from the group and provided some interesting information on the wine making business. It’s unusual to have a winery situated in an urban location! Following the tasting we then headed across the river to Delano for dinner at Ruben’s Mexican Grill.
